Check in with ourselves honestly and gently find places within ourselves that need healing

Unresolved trauma limits vision restricting us to live as fully as we r meant to

Solution 5: Neurofeedback 

QEG with visual and audio cues to change your mind in real time

Everything you think about in mind about world about yourself is arbitrary is a construction

Awakening is stepping out and having the ability to step out of this system

Solution 4: Mindfulness 

Mindfulness- awareness of present – mind and activity are one

As long as we keep trauma in dark it will keep on influencing us , our choices our relationships unconsciously 

We invite trauma fr the dark fr unconscious – shift positioning fr dark to light – becoming aware of it

It has to be done with a lot of patience gentleness compassion 

Start work with trauma pieces that has been holding their whole life

How do we work with these negative emotions ? Coz most of us when we meet negative emotions 

Most of times we choose potentially unhealthy ways to interact with it:

1.Getting lost in it, waves of anger, etc  as if you lost identity and you become that pain, just intensifydoesnt help u work with it

2.Or, you dont feel it

these are not healthy work

thats where mindfulness comes in

new way to relate to negative emotions,

wave of pain rise, not rejecting it, seeing it, working with it—thats hard work painful, confront smthg tolerate is difficult but healthy

Triggered by taste, voice, smell,  etc because of old trauma, in medtiation release it by neuropathways that is created, move forward, dont recycle trauma and repeating

Solution 3: Expressive Arts Therapy

Musical intervention to bring cohesion to body that is fragmented.

Music is processed in whole brain, get brain involved

non invasive, beautiful way to begin to find way

bring unconscious to conscious, trauma is locked in unconscious, use song to unlock it

completely activates you

open up space for breathing and vocalisation

begin with sound, bring us back to primal space, energy moves, stuff comes up

we r making sounds

rhythm is in brain stem: use rhythm to work with mind work and communicate 

drumming, using life instruments for vibration, 

play music together, community

Tap into multidimensional being that you are

Energy so stuck, only vibrations of sound can get into body, by sympathetic resonance body begin to oscillate, and information n emotions is released

energy and emotion is realised

if stuck its hard for energy to get into motion

It’s v hard to start a journey from a non centered place

So that you come back to your body like an infant and is recreating the stages of an infant

Solution 1:  Nature based therapies 

Our skin needs natural contact with the natural world to be healthy 

Ground and recalibrate our mind so as to process memories that would otherwise be difficult 

Trauma often brings pple into therapy and outdoor based therapies are useful

One of hallmarks of trauma is world turned upside down

normal is lost Like there’s a Threat or self hurt

Just being in contact with horses braiding their hair being close to the large bodies of these living beings is deeply therapeutic 

The environment will do most of the work

Connection to self which may be fragmented 

And often what is taken away on trauma ?
