12 Years 5 Months

12 Years 5 Months

It felt as if we are moved by times. Late June saw us moved into our new flat.

We moved into Marine Crescent since last October and in the blinking of an eye, so many months have gone by. 2 school terms and 2 school holidays.

I told Qinzhi and Huaihao about Marine Crescent being my maiden home and how I have lived here before I had them. And then, we are on the move.

It feels sort of like an upgrade. With the space, the new environment, after moving, Qinzhi and Huaihao settled into their own rooms.

And the time in Marine Crescent , a little ride we had. So filled with emotions and experiences. And living next door to grandad and ah yee.

The kids did a stay over at ah yi’s on one of the saturdays and got treated to popcorn and late night movies.

We continued to fish out gems like these.

We moved on the day before school reopens and its like a new start. On fridays, I continue to bring Qinzhi home after school and treat her to a little something before we head home. This week, Qinzhi wanted to spend some time at the fitness corner and so we did.

Looking at Qinzhi, I know she needs her space and to move.

Each week, we continue to head over to granddad’s and ah yi’s to have dinner.

And then we are off into July.

Qinzhi is pushing herself for work this time, as PSLE is like 2 months plus away, with teachers motivating them and putting in extra hours to support the kids.

At this time, Qinzhi is extra motivated to do Chinese oral and chinese, presumably because she found a way to better marks and improvement.

I hope Qinzhi can find something to work for, for the other subjects and find joy working hard alongside her peers , cherishing the times together before she’s off to her secondary school.

There’s still joy and fun, amidst the challenge of PSLE! May you be well and happy dearest Qinzhi!
