How to work through pain safely and effectively?
What is pain?
Pain is registered in sensory cortex, thalamus all goes to brain. There are nocieceptors or pain nerves everywhere. They keep you alive to let us know what is affecting us. But once it does that , there is no use for it.
If you tore something, there are genes in area locally that turn on, cells starts making inflammatory products, those are local , inflammation has a local effect on bone, cartilage nerves, these are conveyed to brain, thats why you limp.
When u get pain for so long, Thalamus change fr pain suppression to amplification.
Nociceptors
You need v good immunity to heal the injury , Immune system regulates amount of pain you have , Different ppl handle these signals differently

Moving a joint that’s sore and body tell you not to move that.on chronic pain, brain on high alert. Chronic pain brain, even when its not pain signal, when brain is flooded with pain signals, change alertness of brain, brain fog–effects of chronic pain etc Chronic pain brain causes sensitisation,
Treating the memory of Pain and not just treating the injury/periphery. Treating the brain is an important part, If u suppress the pain signals n the brain’s recollection of it then in general you decrease the pain, So quiet down the brain and heal the periphery as well ——William Pawluk
Solution 5: Frequency specific microcurrent
Why is it that pple who have shoulder injuries but some pple go they a healing cycle and get better but for others the pain just lingers——-
FSM falls under a category of electro medicine
A v low level of electric current:1960s, started making Trancutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, can block off some pain
Can b put on acupuncture points- micro current electro acupuncture
Frequencies which reduce inflammation/get lymphatic system to move etc

Solution 4: Biofeedback
Biofeedback : instilling voluntary control
if you can induce a symptom, that means maybe the way you are using yourself can shift the symptom
Control means relaxing then tightening minimally and relaxing, then you have control, means turning symptom on then off, then you can identify what’s going on, now you have option, choosing to relax
Autogenic
Physical Mastery, identify what causes tension,
Posture Feedback : sitting up, when u collapse it vibrates, now you have an option, new ways/mannerisms, less symptoms, feel more powerful

Solution 3: Pulsed Electro magnetic Frequency PEMF
Based on quantum physics: everything has a signature frequency
There are healthy frequencies, pulsing disrupt how cells communicate and come in with corrective frequency set thru skin, gets body into self healing
in body ins float around, When apply magnetic field, you are creating charge and movements, when u create charge in tissue you create dynamic action and move things
Disease is lack of energy, lack of charge,
Magnetic field stimulate because there wasn’t enough charge to finish the job in the first place
find right magnetic field intensity for that spot and regularly
5 Key Mechanisms of PEMF: Decrease inflammation/Improve circulation/Reduce Swelling/Stimulate Healing/Stimulate Stem Cells/Pain Reduction= Heal half time
——William Pawluk
Solution 2: Manual Medicine: Chiropractic
rather than numb yourself to pain, respond to it, your body is talking to you——Patrick Gentempo
Feldenkrais Method: The Feldenkrais Method is based on principles of physics, biomechanics, and an empirical understanding of learning and human development. Moshe Feldenkrais said, “We move according to our perceived self-image.” By expanding your perception and increasing awareness, you will become more aware of your habits and tensions and develop new ways of moving. By increasing sensitivity, the Feldenkrais Method assists you to live your life more fully, efficiently, and comfortably.
By becoming aware of how one’s body interacts with its surroundings and learning how to behave in less stressful ways, it becomes possible to relinquish habitual movement patterns that cause or contribute to chronic pain.
The method was developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, an Israeli physicist, mechanical engineer and expert in martial arts, after a knee injury threatened to leave him unable to walk. Relying on his expert knowledge of gravity and the mechanics of motion, he developed exercises to help teach the body easier, more efficient ways to move.
Strength flexibility knowledge intelligence curiousity abt life and learning: giving brain high level information and pain goes down
encourage pple to remember recall curiosity -how u limit yourself, sensing feeling yourself, find aat least 3 ways to do anything , if its one way, its a habit
move fr the whole body: any movement you can do, do fr the whole body not just one part: gentle movements —>function integration

Solution 1:Accupuncture
Pain: energy Obstruction, find stagnation and move
When the body doesnt heal in 10 20 years why is the body not healing?
