Where the meaning in this? What’s the future in this?
If you stereotype people against a very narrow view of ability then you automatically generate a very big conception of inability or disability
We just do because we think we have to but we don’t have to
Creativity isn’t some exotic by product that we happen to see in a few people. We have come to think of it that way. But it’s not true. Creativity is the pulse of human life.
Education should cultivate children’s creative capacities
Free play in afternoons
Learning is facts n figures things that you easily forget
Teach transformation : an expansion of your world view and your mind once expanded can never shrink back to its original size
Once you world view change you become more authentic empathetic like compassionate, you never lose that sense
When Sir Ken Robinson spoke about the dancer who grew to become the choreographer who designed Cats. Somehow it really resonated with me.
I thought of myself . I was fortunate that I could survive the mainstream educational system but still managed to find my love of expression and could use it to earn a method of sustenance.
I thought about my kids. What does QinZhi love and how can I release her from the system that is taking her creativity away?
